Baguio House Rental for a Company Outing: An Owner's Guide to Hosting Your Team (10–20 Pax)

A company outing in a private whole house beats a stiff hotel function room, and it's usually cheaper. I run Vos Villa in Camp 7, and I've watched office teams arrive grumpy from the Manila drive and leave two days later calm and close. Here's the honest owner's guide to hosting your team's outing: how the house works as a base, parking for the convoy, food, booking, and what the team actually gains.

If you're the one in the office stuck planning the company outing, here's the honest version from someone who hosts them. I run Vos Villa, a whole private house in Camp 7, Baguio, and the teams that book me are usually small, 10 to 20 people, who want the entire place to themselves for a night or two. Not a function room. Not a few hotel rooms. The whole house, so the team can actually be together.

A company outing is a different animal from a barkada trip. There's a budget someone has to justify, a convoy of cars to park, food for the whole team, and a reservation someone's putting their name on. So this post walks through all of it, the way I'd explain it to an HR lead who messaged me asking 'will this work for our team?'

Why a whole house beats a hotel function room

Here's what I tell companies comparing us to a hotel or resort package: a private house is cheaper, more private, and the lot is bigger, and the bonding hits harder. That last part is the one that matters. When the whole team is in one house, they actually see each other and talk to each other. A hotel splits everyone into separate rooms, so the only time the group is together is when they step outside. Here, you're all under one roof the entire time. The team feels like one group, not a scattered set of room assignments.

A hotel splits your team two to a room. A whole house keeps them together the whole time. That's where the real bonding happens on a company outing.

If your goal is a structured program with games and exercises, I've also written about using the place as a [team building venue](https://www.vosvilla.com/blog/baguio-team-building-venue-private-house). A company outing is the looser cousin of that: same togetherness, less agenda.

How teams actually use the house: as a base

The pattern I see most: the team uses the house as their base camp. They arrive, park, and head out during the day for activities around Baguio, the tourist spots, a team activity, wherever the itinerary takes them. Then in the evening they come back, prepare food, eat together, drink, and unwind. The house isn't where the whole outing happens. It's home base for it, the place the team returns to and relaxes in after a full day out.

That setup works well for an office group because it separates the 'go do things' part of the day from the 'just be together' part of the night, and the night is where the team really loosens up.

Parking for the convoy

Companies rarely arrive in one car. It's usually three or four vehicles, or a van, and parking is the logistics headache nobody thinks about until they're circling a full lot. At Vos Villa the parking is big: 3 to 6 vehicles fit easily, right on the property. So if your team is driving up in a convoy, everyone parks on-site and nobody's hunting for street parking.

Most of my company guests come from Manila, and the drive is long. For tips on making that trip smoother with the team, here's my guide to [driving to Baguio from Manila and parking-friendly stays](https://www.vosvilla.com/blog/driving-to-baguio-from-manila-parking-friendly-stays).

Food: cook, grill, or bring it in

Most teams handle their own food, and the house makes that easy. There's a full kitchen the team can use to cook, plus space to grill. Kitchen use is an additional ₱300 per day, and once it's on, the team can use everything and cook whatever they want. No restrictions on the menu, no fuss. If your group would rather not cook, you can just bring food in or have it delivered. The point is the team eats together at the house, however you want to handle it.

The amenities that keep a team comfortable

Nobody on a company outing wants to rough it, so the house is stocked like a hotel. You get WiFi, hot showers, bedding, towels, tissues, shampoo, and slippers. Basically everything a hotel gives you except a restaurant and a swimming pool. For a team of 10 to 20, that means people rest properly and nobody spends the trip complaining about being uncomfortable.

What the team actually gains

Here's the part that surprised me when I started hosting office groups. A lot of my guests come from Manila, and when they arrive they look tired. Grumpy, even. A little on edge from the drive and the quarter they just survived. Then two days pass, and they're different people, relaxed, calm, enjoying themselves. By checkout most of them don't want to go back to work. They have to, but they don't want to.

That's the real return on a company outing. It's not the agenda or the program. It's a team that arrives frazzled and leaves recharged and closer to each other. A hotel ballroom doesn't do that. A private house, a bonfire, and a night with no front desk does. I dug into the structured side of this in my [office team building house](https://www.vosvilla.com/blog/office-team-building-house-baguio) guide if you want the work-session angle too.

Rates for a company group

Straight numbers so you can build the budget line:

For a team of 20, split across the whole group, the per-head cost is low, which is exactly why a private house tends to come in cheaper than a hotel package for the same headcount.

How to book (and the paperwork side)

Booking is simple. Message our Facebook page and type 'camp 7 whole house' so I know you mean Vos Villa, and the requirements get sent over. I'll give you the reservation payment details, you send a screenshot of the down payment, and I lock in your date. That confirmation and your payment screenshot are your booking record. If the person handling the expense needs anything specific for liquidation or reimbursement, just tell me up front and we'll sort it out.

Why you can book with confidence

Putting your name on a reservation for the whole team is a small risk, so let me ease it. Vos Villa is my second branch. My first is already well established with a good reputation among the groups who've stayed there, the number one recommended stay near SM, Session, and Burnham. That track record carries straight over here. You can book with us safely, and that's the promise. See the first branch's reputation at [baguiotransient.net](http://baguiotransient.net/), and browse more Baguio stays through [Book Baguio](https://bookbaguio.com/).

Plan your team's outing

If you want to give your team a real break, message our Facebook page, type 'camp 7 whole house,' and send your dates and headcount. Secure it with the 30% down payment via GCash or BPI, and the whole house is yours. I'll say this honestly: the unforgettable part isn't only the house, it's Baguio itself, and the place just gives your team the right base to enjoy it from. You can also call or text 0916 607 7310.
